Every impactful company starts with a shared vision and a passion for solving real-world problems. For me, that journey began with a simple but powerful belief: that quality mental health care should be accessible and equitable for everyone.
The idea behind Resilient Moment was born out of my desire to leverage technology in a way that would make personalized, affordable, and effective mental health support available to all. My own path, from cloud-based voice platforms to AI-powered solutions, equipped me with the tools and knowledge to tackle this challenge. What truly motivated me, however, was witnessing my friends and peers struggle with mental health over the years.
Through research, I found that while methods like positive affirmations were powerful, there was a clear need for something more effective and accessible. As an immigrant, I also saw firsthand the barriers to mental health support for those from similar backgrounds. I knew this was a challenge I couldn't tackle alone, which is why I sought out others who shared this vision.
That's when I reached out to Benjamin Young, a successful healthtech entrepreneur, and Rosalyn Mahashin, a leader in digital health strategy. Together, we laid the foundation for Resilient Moment to create a suite of tools that would help people build resilience to stress and anxiety through personalized exercises and affirmations. Our conviction that there's a need for a tool like Joyment's was further supported when talking to and interviewing many potential users. We were joined by Dr. Melanie Sage, PhD, whose expertise in digital mental health research has kept us grounded in evidence-based practices.
Now, after many months of R&D and UXR efforts, we're thrilled to announce that our first product, the Joyment App (https://lnkd.in/etJiMa_r), which uses our patent-pending technology, will soon be launching. Joyment takes the first steps in making personalized and equitable mental health care more accessible to everyone, and we can't wait to share it with you all.
