Meet Vadim Snitkovsky, co-founder and CTO

With generative AI causing seismic shifts in the tech landscape and grim tidings on other fronts, we're all going through some anxious moments.

Meet Vadim S., co-founder and CTO of Resilient Moment. In February 2023, Vadim had a vision to develop an app to help us deal with life’s challenges. His career path has not only equipped him with the necessary skills and experience but has also further solidified his confidence, ensuring he sees this project to fruition.

He's earned engineering laurels for innovations with real-world implications. At UCIC - Unified Computer Intelligence Corporation (UCIC.io), he led development of the Ubi Kit, a pioneering device that enabled multiple voice assistants on a single hardware kit, paving the way and availability of Amazon Voice Services, Google Assistant as well as customizable AI Assistants via Ubi Web Portal, for 3rd party implementations. In addition to pioneering contributions at Angel, Genesys, iQabinet, Inc and FriendTones, Vadim was an engineering lead on cutting edge projects at Meta.

As a child growing up in Ukraine, he'd take his toys apart and put them back together again, relentlessly seeking ways to improve their performance by modifying them and saving the toy’s superfluous parts for his next creation--child inventor to co-founder and CTO!

Having seen the sacrifices his parents made to bring his family to the US, he grew up knowing that education and wholehearted dedication to his studies were standard necessities in his parents’ household. The pressure to succeed has been a driving force in Vadim’s life. He majored in computer science and minored in human computer interaction at the University of Maryland, College Park. Vadim immersed himself in the possibilities found through his software engineering skills and the creation of innovative solutions to help people.

An early adopter of the Internet of Things (IoT), Vadim used his technical chops to turn his house into a home so smart, it belongs in Mensa. Most everything can be switched on and off using voice recognition--the house reacts to doors opening and closing, and to human presence.

Vadim loves spending time with his family. Some of their favorite things to do together are hiking, trying new culinary dishes, and even playing board games. Outside of family time and the creation of his newest brainchild (Resilient Moment), Vadim lives an active lifestyle through powerlifting, crossfit training, and hiking. He loves to share his knowledge of strength sports by coaching new powerlifters.

Asked if he has any notable skills besides being able to automate just about anything, Vadim says: "I can pick up really heavy objects."

No kidding. He once held a record and deadlifted 600-pounds in a powerlifting competition. It's one more thing that makes Vadim Snitkovsky perfect for his role as CTO of Resilient Moment--someone who's always ready to do some heavy lifting.
